When the freight is bigger than the infrastructure that carries it
Some freight outgrows the system built to move it. Too heavy for the bridge, too wide for the lane, too valuable to trust to a standard route. That’s where a project move begins, with a survey and an engineer well before a booking.
- The cargo is one indivisible piece: A turbine, a transformer, a fuselage section, and a pressure vessel all have one thing in common. They are too large to break down and too valuable to risk. The route has to be engineered to its exact dimensions, because the piece can’t be made to fit anything.
- The route hasn’t been proven: A remote site, an offshore platform, a road never built for a load this size and weight. Reaching it takes a survey first, one that establishes what the route can bear and what has to change before the cargo moves.
- The whole project waits on this delivery: Commissioning, first power, a plant start-up. When a site full of people and equipment stands idle until the piece arrives, the delivery date carries the weight of the entire schedule.
- The move spans months and modes: Factory floor, ocean crossing, heavy haul, final placement. A move this long only holds together with one plan behind it and one team accountable across every phase.

The work starts on the ground. Route surveys, feasibility studies, and site assessments measure the bridges, bends, the overhead clearances, and the bearing capacity of the ground. National maps every constraint between origin and destination before a single plan is drawn.
We engineer the move to the last detail
Load plans, securing methods, the permits and escorts the route calls for, and a contingency for each risk the survey surfaced. Every dimension of your cargo gets checked against every limit on the route, so surprises get planned for before they happen.
One team executes across every leg
Heavy-lift charter for the air, break bulk and roll-on/roll-off for the ocean, heavy haul and escorts for the road. However many modes and carriers a project takes, one project manager runs them as a single mission.
The last leg runs all the way to site
A project move runs well past the port or the airfield. National carries the cargo through the final haul to the delivery point itself, however remote or offshore, and manages the offloading on arrival. The move is complete once the piece is safely on the ground at its destination, ready for the team that installs it.
